about Kumamoto②

Do you know "shichifuku manju”? It's a kind of  Japanese manju that has many taste, for example chocolate, custard cream, ham egg and so on. The shape is a raccoon dog and delicious cream in it.

The shop is in Asoda near the Self-Defense Forces of KitaKumamoto. It is so small shop that you would miss it, but I want you to find it and try the delicious manju. 

about Kumamoto①

I have lived in Kumamoto for 11 years so I know some good place to visit in Kumamoto.

Do you like to view the night view? If yes, I recommend you to go to Mt.Kinpou! Some people say that the best place to see the night view is Mt.Hanaoka. I like there too, but I think Mt.Kinpou's is more beautiful because the mountain is higher than Mt.Hanaoka. If you have free time in a night, you should go to Mt.Kinpou! (79)

a new song!

On May 20, I bought a new single CD of Chihiro Onitsuka! She released a song in last October, but she became sick because of the hard work and she canceled the all Japan tour. Now she gets better and sends her strong messages to her fans! The title of the new song are "X" and "last melody". "X" is a light rock song. It is rare to her. " Last melody" is slow sadly song. I like both of the songs, but especially I like "Last melody". Her official homepage says that she is going to release new songs, so I'm really looking forward to them.(107)

⑧Foreign countries

You know I'm a student majoring in English, but I'm also interested in the countries that English is not the official language. Especially, I'm interested in Russia! I wrote that I'm learning Russian as a second language and the teacher tell me many interesting things about Russia. I really want to visit the country. I didn't know that the established religion of Russia is Christianity. There are many beautiful and big churches. I'm not Christian, but I really want to see its. Mr.Ota said there are a lot of good food, so I' also interested in the Russian food. (103)

⑦My other classes

I have been taken Russian class from the first grade. It is very fun for me. The class has only a few students so we can join and enjoy the class. The teacher of the class is Mr.Ota. He really likes Russia and he knows a lot of things about the country. Exactly he lived there in the past and he tells us many facts about current Russia. I didn't know a lot about the country, but the class makes me want to go to Russia. (87)

⑥How I study English

I like to use the Power Words to study English. It is very useful soft. I learn many English words. I also like reading English books. My favorite English book is "The wizard of Oz". It was interesting story. I think studying English is must be fun. I feel happy while I am studying English my English skill is blushed. I read English book, but I feel it is not interesting, I stop reading and look for other book. So how I study English is only the way I feel happy. (89)

Welcome Party

On this Friday night, I have a welcome party for freshmen of our club. We went to hanasaka jisan and hyakusyo. The dishes of hanasaka jisan are so good. Most of the freshmen attended the party so I was glad. BUT!!! I was so trying because I had to drink so much!! I'm a sub leader of the club, so I had to drunk many social drinking. Moreover, all of the social drinking are beer! I don't like it very much!! I became patient for beer thanks to the party. Oh, let me worn you, I'm 20 years old!In the post-party party, we became more high spirit. I got drunk but I had to be careful for other people, so I bear up against the drunkenness. But without regard for that I take care of them or not, they drank and some of then got dead drunk. My boyfriend was one of them and I think he was the best annoying drunken person then. Sadly, I couldn't stop him. Some of seniors were also be taken care from others. I was so tired that night. (186)

My Treasure

My treasure is my wallet.

The wallet is emerald green, oblong, made of leather.

It ia very easy to use and I have used it for about 3 years.

I still like it very much. The reason why the wallet is my treasure is that it’s the last present from my grandmother.

She passed away 3 years ago because of pancreatic cancer.

I really liked her.

One summer day when I was a high school student, she asked me, “Is there something that you want?”

She lived alone before her cancer was  discovered, but she stayed at my family a few months before she died.

“Well, I want to buy a new wallet”, I answered.

Then, she gave me some money and said “You may buy a new wallet using this money. I want to go out with you, but I can’t”

I was sad to hear that, but I thought I has had to buy a new one to please her.

I went to Tsuruya on the weekend and bought an Anna Sui wallet. 

The design is simple an the color is beautiful, so I thought she has also liked it.

When she looked at it, she admired the beautiful green. I was glad that she liked my choice.

A few months later, she got worse .

She had lived longer than the doctor had predicted, but she died 6 months later.

She also wanted to by a new yukata for me, but the wish didn’t come true.

So I think I have to cherish the last present all the more.

I’m going to keep using the wallet until the moment it will be broken. (260)

Weekend

Hello! I'll write about how I spent last Friday and Saturday.
I went to a restaurant bar "Blue Bright" with my friends; Tomoko, Mai, Hanae, Kana on Friday night. There is very nice restaurant! The dishes is so good that I ate too much. I drank 4 fruit cooktails. They are also good. We were in high spirit by the alchool, we talked a lot of things. I had a good time on Friday night.
On Saturday, I went to part time job from 12:00 pm. But I suddenly feel bad after eating the board, so I went home and sleep for about three hours. After the sleeping, I felt better. In the night, my boyfriend came to my house after finishing his part time job and we walk around my house in about 23:00 to 0:00. It was midnight so the elementary shcool was a little eerie. But I also excited the midnight walk.
Today, Sunday, the weather is so bad so Icouldn't go out. I'm going to go to my part time job from 18:00. See you★　（177）

book review⑤

I read "Frog and Toad Together" written about clode friend Frog and Toad. I have read a different story of the series in the text book of elementary school. This book has five stories and I like one of them, so I'll write book review about it.
1. A LIST
One morning, Toad made a list of what he do the day. He wrote nine things to do: Eat Breakfast, Get Dressed, Go to Frog's House, Take walk with Frog, Eat lunch, Take a nap, Play games with Frog, Eat Supper, Go to sleep. He has done the thing, he crossed out the words. He acted according to the list and went to Frag's houe and they went to walk. Toad crossed out "Take walk with Frog", but just then there was a strong wind and it blew the list out of Toad's hand! But he couldn't catch because he didn't write the list "Run". Frog ran and tried to catch it but he couldn't. Toad cannot remember what he wrote the list, so he couln't do anyting. After a long time, Frog said "Toad, it is getting dark. We should be going to sleep now." In the moment, Toad shouted "Go to sleep!". He wrote that in the list. Then he wrote on the ground with a stick: Go to sleep and crossed out it. Toad said "Now my day is all crossedout!" Frog was glad to hear that and they went right to sleep. (246)

Don't judge a person how they looks.

Today, I went to Joyful with my club members. I'm a sub leader of our club, so I should communicate with every frieshman. But one frieshman was tough to deal with. He is naughty and little noisy. For example, he walked on the sofa wearing shoes. I really don't like such as graceless person. "But... I'm a sub leader! I should have a good relationship with each freshman!" I think so and talked to the boy. Then, he has a sturdy thinking and very funny and a littele crazy good frieshman! I listened to his story about his sence of love and I noded a lot. I know that he is not only a person who is naughty but also good and single-minded person. I think that we shouldn't judge a person how they looks. (136)

③My hobbies

My hobby is playing the volleyball! I was belonging to volleyball club for about 6 years. I sometime play it in KGU' ground still now. I also like playing the piano. I had learned it for9 years. I have no time to learn it now, but I really want to learn it again. I also like cooking. I’m good at making cookies! In St. Valentine’s Day, I make many cookies and give my friend every year. (78)

I think I am a happy human.
On my birthday, I got many congratulatory mail from my friends and brother, and my boyfriend called me to say "Happy birthday" at 0:00, the moment I became 20 years old. He also took me to a yakiniku restaurant where he works and trest me to diner. I love yakiniku so it makes me sooo happy! Besides, I got birthday presents from the staff of my part time job. I had never known that they bought me presents, so I cryed for joy in spite of my self. They make me very very happy and I thought I am a very happy human. I felt I should thank more for other people. Thank you for everyone!!! (124)

Essay self introduction

Hello! My name is Misato. First, I’ll introduce about myself. I’m 19 years old and my birthday is May 8^th. My blood type is B. I’m from Kumamoto but I have moved 6 times. My hobby is playing the piano. I learned it for 9 years. I practiced a lot of tunes but my favorite one is “A Whole New World”, which is Aladdin’s theme song. I practiced the song when I was 11 years old but I still play it now. I also like playing volleyball. I was on the volleyball team when I was at junior high school and high school . The practice was so hard that I wanted to retire again and again, but I never gave up and I got many precious teammates.

     Unfortunately, I have a few favorites and dislikes about food. Above all, I don’t like eggs! Everyone is surprised to hear that. I like confectioneries that use eggs, but I don’t like scrambled eggs and so on. Everyone says “ it is regrettable for your life!”

My birthday!

     Today is my 20th birthday! Last night, many of my friends sent me mails and make me happy. I'm glad to have good friend. My mother bought me a cute polo shirts and I really like it. And today, my boyfriend is going to take me to his work place Sairo which is a good yakiniku restaurant. I really like yakiniku, so I' looking forward to eating it.

     By the way, my last birthday is so bad because I troubled with my mother and we didn't talk for three months. I stayed at my friends house birthday night. Thinking that, my 20th birthday is really good and pleasant. Now, my mother and me have a good relation ship and I have many good friend. I'll enjoy today! (133)

Flood!

This is a hartwarming short story.The main character is a family. The town they live in had been raining for days. Then the rain is keeping raining, so children couldon't play outside. Their scool was closed and finally their house was flooded! They rescue by the rescue party from the window of the socond floor. They stay in a town hall one night. When they went back to theor house, they clean hard cooporated each other. (77)

THE WIZARD OF OZ

"THE WIZARD OF OZ"
I think many of you know this story. Theheroine is Dorothy. She is a active and brave girl. She lives in Kansas where many cyclone occurd. One day a big cyclone hit her house. Her Uncle Henry and her Aunt Em went down into the cellars under their house, but Dorothy and her dog Toto coluldon't go. The house moved and went up to the top of cyclone with Dorothy and Toto in.
The place where they arrived is so beautiful, but Dorothy gave a little cry because there was not Kansas. Then a old woman wearing white dress walked up to Dorothy and she said "Thank you, thank you!" Dorothy couldon't understand why she so thanked to her. The old woman, Witch of the North, told that when the house landed, it crush bad witch " Witch of the East". People were suffer from her so she thanked to Dorothy. Dorothy asked the way how to go back to Kansas, Witch of the North answed that she don't know that, but she advised to visit The Wizard of Oz. He is a famous wizard and he lives in the Emerald City. Hearing that, Dorothy decided to go to the city. The good witch gave masical kiss to Dorothy, what make anyone can't hurt her.
The road to the Emerald City is long. Dorothy got many of friends Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion who wants to meet the Wizard. They cooperated and finally they could meet the Wizard. But he suggested a condition to grant their wish. It is to kill the bad Witch of the West. Then they went to the witch's house. They were caught once, but Dorothy killed her to hit water to her. Her weakness was water! Then the friends visit to the Wizard of Oz again. But the wizard was, say, just a old man came from Kansas! He acted as if he is a great wizard. The friends dissapointed but the wizard gray their wish by his own way. Dorothy also could gp back to Kansas. (344)

golden week

My golden week is not golden.I have to go to part time job on May 2,3,4,5, and 2 and 5 I have to work 12:00 pm to 21:00!! It'll be so hard, I think. But I also have a good thing. I'm going to go to dinner with my friend of high school on May 3. One of them goes to university in Fukuoka, so we can't meet when we want. I 'm really looking forward to the meeting and I have many things what I want to talk to them! Do you have any schedule in your golden week? Are you looking forward to spending it or not? book review②

I readed the book "Mystery in London". It has interesting characteristic. Readers of the book identify a detective and don't have to read it in tern like page 1, page 2, ・・・. Each end of paragraph have two or three choices to designate which paragraph they go, and readers have to choose one of the choice. If readers choose the wrong choice, they can't find the culprit. I started over to reading about three times.

The system is a little complex, but the story is really simple.

A murder happened in the street near a bar. A woman named Annie attacked with a long knife and there was blood everywhere. She wasn't dead, but it was crime by "Whitechapel Killer" who killed six women in the same way.

A famous detective asked to reaserch for the affair. He went to the street and see the scene. He askedsome questions to people around there, and He went to Annie's house. He found a letter in the house and it was sent by her boyfriend Jack who is sailor. Jack said "Tomorrow my ship is going to India. Please meet me at the Rose and Crown tonight." in the letter. Rose and Crown is a restaurant near the street! A detective convinced "the Whitechapel Killer is Jack!"

A detective went to the port and found Jack. He asks " do you know Annie?" then Jack suddenly took a knife out of his pocket which he used mueder! A detective and captain of Jack's ship held down Jack and arrested him. (256 words)
